(7:30 p.m.) They brought some cars out onto the track to pack. It was a wet mess and they just announced a few minutes ago that drivers should help run the track in. Glad to see they are on top of the program.
The temperature is in the 50s, but it feels like the 40s. It’s gonna be another cold one out here.
(6:57 p.m.) Hot laps are about to start for the E Main cars. The E, D and C Main cars will hot lap. Then the E and D Main events will happen. After that, the B Mains and dash will hot lap before the C Mains. Then the dash and B Mains will race before the 40-lap feature concludes the 24th annual Short Track Nationals.
(6:45 p.m.) Drivers are now putting heat into their engines.

(1:52 p.m.) I’m back at the track for the finale of the Short Track Nationals. It’s a nice, sunny day here in Little Rock. There are scattered clouds and a slight breeze, but it’s mostly sun and warmth. It is supposed to get into the low 40s again tonight, so I’m trying to soak up this sun.
Most of the teams are here servicing their cars and getting things ready for the features tonight, which start around 7:30 p.m. They are about to kick everyone out of the pits, so I’ll post more throughout the day.
