Inside Line Promotions is a leader in motor sports media management.

In December 2008, Shawn Miller established Inside Line Promotions as he became the media director for the American Sprint Car Series Northwest Region. To gain more knowledge and a better understanding of the sport from various angles, Miller pursued a public relations job in 2010 with a traveling sprint car team.

A match was made between Miller and a driver who competed on the ASCS National Tour – racing at 23 different tracks in 13 states. In charge of all things media related – and numerous other aspects of helping to run a racing program – Miller created a website, which surpassed 125,000 hits during the season and helped market the driver across the nation.

With the motivation and desire to grow in sprint car racing, Miller decided to offer his services and specialty in motor sports to more than one program. Hence, www.InsideLinePromotions.com was instituted in November 2010 in an effort to target a national audience and offer a service to racing teams that desire effective exposure.

Inside Line Promotions was based in Missouri throughout the 2011 season, when ILP traveled to 78 races at 41 tracks in 16 states. Additionally, ILP drivers combined for 50 victories, the Knoxville Raceway (in Knoxville, Iowa) 410 track championship and the ASCS Midwest and ASCS Southern California titles.

In January of 2012, Miller was hired as the public relations coordinator for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. He spent 2012 and a quarter of the 2013 season with the premier 410 sprint car series.

Miller revitalized Inside Line Promotions in April of 2013 and the company grew to add more than 20 clients by the end of the season. ILP drivers scored more than 85 feature victories as well as the USCS National, USCS Southern Thunder, ASCS Midwest Region and (New Zealand) Porter Hire International Sprintcar Series championships.

A significant growth highlighted 2014 as Team ILP grew to more than 30 drivers as well as nearly a dozen racing series, organizations and events. Inside Line Promotions drivers combined to record 114 feature victories from coast to coast, including wins with the World of Outlaws, ASCS National Tour and numerous regional series to go with the ASCS Gulf South Region championship.

Two dozen Inside Line Promotions drivers combined to capture 152 feature victories and nine championships during a stout 2015 season.

A total of 29 drivers earned at least one win for Team ILP in 2016 when Inside Line Promotions competitors finished with 140 feature wins and 12 championships.

Team ILP topped 100 combined wins for the fourth straight season as 33 drivers earned at least one triumph and 20 netted multiple victories in 2017. Seven championships were captured as well.

The 2018 season showcased an even 100 triumphs from 22 drivers with eight championships earned.

The 100-win mark was achieved in 2019 as 33 Team ILP racers recorded 107 triumphs to go along with eight championships.

While the COVID-19 pandemic stymied racing across the country in 2020, halting it completely for numerous weeks and altering most schedules, 21 drivers garnered 65 victories.

Team ILP recorded nine championships and a career-best 157 feature triumphs in 2021 with 24 drivers producing at least one trip into Victory Lane.

Ten clients combined for 58 wins and four championships during the 2022 season.

The 58-win mark was reached in 2023 when six Team ILP competitors earned at least one triumph with three drivers reaching double digits. Additionally, a track championship and Speedweek title were garnered.
