Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (June 4, 2024) – Jack Dover is eagerly awaiting one of his biggest races of the season.

Dover will pilot his No. 53 winged sprint car during the Kubota High Limit Racing’s Eagle Nationals at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb., on Tuesday, June 11.

“I’m pretty nervous because it’s a big event with the best drivers in the country there,” he said. “To make the show would be as good as winning it for me. I’d be ecstatic. It’s nerve wracking, but you have to remember they are drivers, too, and you just have to do your best.”

Dover has enjoyed success at Eagle Raceway, which has been one of his home tracks since he started racing sprint cars. He became the youngest Nebraska Cup winner in 2007 and he won the Eagle Nationals in 2011 when it was an ASCS event.

Dover has one start this year, but it was a good one as he was victorious during a 360ci winged sprint car race last month.

“One of the saviors is that it’s my car and I’m more comfortable so that helps the confidence,” he said. “It’s two different things with carrying that win over. Plus, it’s two different animals with 360s and 410s. But I think we could get a top 10 if my stuff is right.”

Dover made the High Limit Racing main event at Eagle Raceway last year.
