Inside Line Promotions – GREENBRIAR, Ark. (July 30, 2024) – Jordon Mallett will return to action this weekend for the first time in more than a month.

Mallett plans to race on Friday and Saturday at Hattiesburg Speedway in Hattiesburg, Miss., with the USCS Series. It will mark his first time competing since June 29.

“We’re going in this weekend with a full head of steam,” he said. “We’ve been working hard at home to make sure everything is prepared and ready. It’s been nice to spend a few weeks off with family and our new baby. Now the focus is on racing and winning races.”

Mallett has enjoyed success at Hattiesburg Speedway, where he last competed in June 2022 when he earned a third-place result. He placed fifth at the track the previous year and third in 2020. Mallett also scored results of second and third at the track in 2018, which started his current five-race top-five streak there.

“It seems like I make a visit there every year at some point,” he said. “That’s one of those places where I’m eager to win at because we’ve done everything but win. It’s one of those places that has had my number. We’ve been consistent and always fast, but just haven’t gotten a win yet. Hopefully that changes this weekend.”

Mallett enters the weekend with two wins this season, including one during USCS Series competition.
