Inside Line Promotions - JACKSON, Minn. (June 11, 2013) - Daryn Pittman is excited to return to Jackson Speedway on Friday for The Big Game Shootout Presented by Eyecon Trail Cameras.
It marks the first World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series race since 2010 at the half mile, where Pittman notched a victory in 2005.
"I like Jackson," he said. "You always like the ones you win at more than others."
Steve Kinser, a 20-time series champion and the winningest driver in Outlaws history, won the most recent event and owns a series-best three wins at Jackson Speedway.
"I've always enjoyed running there myself," Kinser said in a radio interview. "I've always ran pretty good there. It's a nice, big half-mile track and it's fun to run on."
Tony Stewart Racing teammate Donny Schatz and Big Game Treestands backed Sammy Swindell, as well as Bobby Davis Jr., also recorded a victory since the inaugural event in 1987.
"It's real, real fast," Chad Kemenah said. "I remember it being really big and flat.
"I think that's one that we get a big, huge crowd every time."
